Thoughtfully Restored — One Piece at a Time

At Twenty7th Avenue, we restore furniture with a focus on character, thoughtful design, and everyday function. Founded by Daniel and Lexi, our Tampa-based shop grew from a simple beginning: two people working beneath a small tent, learning their craft and sharing a vision for what overlooked furniture could become.

With backgrounds in nursing and fine dining, we brought an appreciation for detail, care, and personal service into our work. Today, those values continue to guide how we restore each piece and support every customer.

Our process begins with seeing the potential in a piece—its shape, construction, distinctive details, and place in a home. From there, we develop a direction that complements its original character through considered colors, finishes, and hardware.

The hands-on work starts with cleaning and preparation, followed by sanding and repairs as needed. We then apply the finish, paying attention to the surfaces, edges, and decorative details that give each piece its personality. Protective topcoats and final touches complete the transformation before photography and preparation for shipping.

Because we work with previously loved furniture, each piece has its own history. Our approach respects that individuality while giving it a refreshed appearance and a new chapter.
